Developing high school graduates skilled in wood manufacturing.
Join the broad network of schools, teachers and students across Canada that have signed on to deliver WOODLINKS®.
Introducing students to the wood manufacturing industry, WOODLINKS® is the highly-acclaimed program that is internationally recognized by industry and offered in high schools across Canada (and the United States). Students acquire the skills and knowledge that will prepare them for direct entry into the wood industry after graduation or for a smooth transition to post-secondary education and training programs. WOODLINKS® offers a solution to the ever-growing concern of skilled worker shortages and connects job-seekers with employers.
Offered at the senior secondary school level, this industry-driven program is a result of a partnership among secondary and post-secondary schools and wood industry manufacturers and suppliers.
