Wood Products Processing
The Wood Products Processing Program provides graduates with an understanding of wood as a material.
Emphasis is placed on a basic understanding of engineering concepts, business, communication and problem solving skills to produce graduates capable of managing a wood products manufacturing facility.
Graduates will be expected to plan and construct production facilities, develop new methods and processes, and manage production control and coordinate personnel.
Fine Woodworking
Working within a creative and supportive environment, the Fine Woodworking programs at Selkirk College are a unique opportunity to acquire a sound foundation in professional woodworking.
The curriculum provides a broad overview of woodworking operations, processes and technology while allowing ample time for individual study in specific areas of personal interest.
