Northwood's forest industry roots go back to 1961, when Noranda entered the BC forest industry by purchasing a number of Prince George area sawmill operations and related forest licences. Three years later, Noranda joined forces with the Mead Corporation of Dayton, Ohio, to form Northwood.
Northwood Pulp and Timber Limited is located in the heart of the province
of British Columbia. Our corporate and administrative offices, along with
our pulp mill, sawmills, a plywood plant, tree nursery and forest operations,
are all located within a 350 kilometre radius of Prince George.
